NMIMS MBA

NMIMS offers distance MBA studies through School of Distance Learning (SDL).

NMIMS School of Distance Learning has various programmes in Management approved by Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi for January 2008.

The Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses offered by the Department of Distance Learning (DDL), NMIMS, enable a student to specialize in the main streams of management like Business Management, Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management. The Advanced Diplomas present an opportunity to further knowledge, and hone skills in the specific fields of International Trade, Banking and Management.

Diploma in Financial Management (DFM)
Diploma in Human Resources Management (DHRM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
Advanced Diploma in International Trade Management (ADITM)
Advanced Diploma in Banking and Financial Management (ADBFM)
Advanced Diploma in Banking and Financial Management (ADBFM)
Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management. (ADSCM)

Admission is through Paper Based Entrance Test – Paper Based Entrance test will be conducted at NMIMS various Study Center. Registrations are done twice a year, in January and July. Examinations are held twice every year, in May/June and November / December.

Eligibility Criteria & Selection process

For Diploma Programmes – DBM/DFM/DMM/DHRM
Bachelors Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from any recognized Universityor equivalent degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)OR H.S.C plus 3 years Diploma recognized by AICTE ORS.S.C plus 3 years Diploma recognized by AICTE and 3 years work experience.
For Post Graduate Diploma Programmes - PGDBM/PGDFM/PGDMM/ PGDHRM/
Bachelors Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks at Graduation Level.ORBachelors Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 2 years of work experience
For Lateral Entry – i.e Direct Admission to 2nd year of the Post Graduate Diploma Programmes
Candidates who hold the Bachelors Degree alongwith Diploma awarded by S.VK.M`s NMIMS UNIVERSITY will be allowed to take admission directly to the second year of Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in the respective specialization.
For Advanced Diploma Programmes – ADITM/ADBFM/ADSCM
Bachelors Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks at Graduation Level.ORBachelors Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 2 years of work experience

Selection Process for all the 11 Programmes:
Interested candidate need to register for Paper Based Entrance Test. Admissions will be based on the good score in Paper Based Entrance Test (NMAT). Paper Based Entrance Test is common for all the programmes.

Structure of the Test - NMAT
NMAT is an objective type test designed and developed to ascertain the aptitude of the candidates to undergo Post Graduate Programme in Management. Aptitude is the potential of an individual to perform subsequent to proper training. Therefore NMAT is designed to identify the potential.
The NMAT has three Sections. Total of 100 questions are to be attempted in 120 minutes. The test structure is given below:-
